1. On your demo site I've seen a "Powered by Blog System" message, if I purchase Blog System may I remove it from my site?
Yes, you are free to remove it at no extra cost and you aren't require to keep any links back to us.

2. I would like to create several blog hosting packages on my site with different space allocated for each of them and I would like that some of them free and other paid - would this be possible with Blog System?
Yes, Blog System lets you create as many blog hosting packages you wish. For every hosting package you could specify the price, space and bandwidth allocated as well as what kind of payment options will be accepted and at what period the bloggers will be billed.

3. What will happen if a blogger reaches the limit of allocated space for his blog and the package he has chosen?
If a blogger reaches the limit of space allocated for the package he has chosen, the pages which are previewed for posting new information (such as new notes, or uploading new images in a photo album or new files) will be deactivated. In order that the blogger is able to post again, he should either delete any of his current notes/comments/pictures/files or upgrade his package.

4. I've seen on your demo site some predefined pages such as News, About Us, Contact etc. will I be able to change them on my site?
Yes, Blog System comes with a powerful content management system allowing you to freely manage the website structure. You can add new pages, delete or rename the existing ones, change the pages hierarchy and others. You could edit the content of the pages with a WYSIWG editor, set custom meta tags and titles for the pages. activate/deactivate them and others. You could find more information in this document.

5. I would like to translate the Blog System in my language which I've seen you still don't have - will I qualify for a discount in such case?
Yes, we'll be happy to offer you a discount from the listed price in such case. In general in order to translate Blog System in another language, the language file should be translated. Please contact us for details

6. May I run my blog portal on a shared hosting package or I need a dedicated server?
One of the most important advantages when running Blog System is that you don't need your own dedicated server which could be quite expensive but a simple shared hosting package supporting PHP, MySQL and mod_rewrite (which is the case for nearly all the Linux shared hosting packages).

7. Will you setup Blog System directly on my server/hosting package free of charge?
Yes, we could do the installation for you at no additional cost. Please contact us for details.

8. I have already my own dedicated server with Windows operating system - will Blog System run on Windows?
Yes, Blog System can run on Windows (even if Linux is recommended) and we have clients hosting their sites powered by Blog System on Windows servers. Please note that in this case you need an additional module for your IIS which is called isapi_rewrite (used for rewriting the blog urls) installed on your Windows. isapi_rewrite does nearly the same for IIS as mod_rewrite for Apache, there is also a free version of isapi_rewrite which is absolutely enough for Blog System. If you plan to install Blog System on Windows, feel free to contact us and we could provide you more information.

9. What are the basic blog url formats, may I switch between them?
Blog System supports two basic blog url formats user.domain.com and www.domain.com/user and you could switch between them by simply changing a setting in your configuration file.

11. If I choose the sub domains format, will I need wildcard dns enabled for my domain?
Yes, you'll need wildcard dns enabled for your domain. Please note that most of the hosting companies (as well as the one we recommend) will enable it for you free of charge on request. If you have access to the domain DNS zone, you could easily enable wildcard dns yourself by simply adding a new CNAME record. You could google for it, in order to find detailed information for wildcard dns or contact us. Please note that the other format, the folder like (which is also the default one) doesn't require wildcard dns. If you have CPanel for your hosting package, then usually enabling wildcard dns is as easy as adding new sub domain with: *

12. As administrator, will I be able to put advertisements such as Google Adsense on the user blogs?
Yes, Blog System provides you functionality to put advertisements in one or more of the four main zones - top right bottom left. Please read this document for more information.

13. I would like to know something more for the RSS features of Blog System and the supported rss urls.

14. I've seen the blogger templates currently coming with Blog System, but will I be able to add on my site templates created by myself?
Yes, you may add as many additional templates as you wish. A template represents a standard html code mixed with a few special tags, please read this document for more information.

15. Could I create sub categories of a the main blog categories?
Yes, you can create sub categories of the blog categories. For example if you have a main blog category News, you could add for example News->Policy, News->Sport etc. Please take a look at this document for detailed information.
