Supported RSS feed urls in Blog System

1.Latest  blog posts on the site

Fields
Title: the title of the note
Description: the first <=200 characters of the note
Link: link to the full content of the note

URL
notes.rss (or http://www.domain.com/notes.rss)

will provide information for the last 10 notes / blog posts

if you would like to specify the number of notes you would like to see please, use the following:

notes[NUMBER].rss where NUMBER is an integer, the number of notes you would like to see. For example notes25.rss  last 25 notes

If NUMBER is not a valid integer an error message will be displayed


2.Latest comments / latest comments posted on the blog site

Fields
Title: the title of the comment
Description: the first <=200 characters of the comment text
Link: link to the full content to the note and the posted comments on the user's blog

URL
comments.rss (or http://www.domain.com/comments.rss)

will provide information for the last 10 comments

if you would like to specify the number of comments you would like to see, please use the following:

comments[NUMBER].rss where NUMBER is an integer, the number of the comments you would like to see. For example comments40.rss  last 40 comments



3.Blog Categories  the available blog categories (managed by the administrator)

Fields
Title: the name of the category
Description: 
Link: link to the category, displaying the list with the available blogs in this category

URL
categories.rss (or http://www.domain.com/categories.rss)

will return a list with the available blog categories


4.User Categories  the available blog categories (created by the bloggers)

Fields
Title: the name of the category
Description: 
Link: link to the category on the user's blog, containing the list with the notes that that user has added in this category

user_categories.rss (or http://www.domain.com/user_categories.rss)


5.Blogs - last updated blogs on the blog site

Fields
Title: user name
Description: message in the following format - updated on [DATE OF UPDATE]
Link: link to the blog

URL
blogs.rss (or http://www.domain.com/blogs.rss)

will provide information for the last 10 updated blogs

if you would like to specify the number of blogs you would like to see please, use the following:

blogs[NUMBER].rss where NUMBER is an integer, the number of the blogs you would like to see. For example blogs15.rss - last 15 blogs


6.User blogs

! Important - the different categories of the notes on the blogs are returned as different RSS channels

Channel name: the notes category
Channel link: link to the corresponding notes category on the user's blog

Fields
Title: the title of the note
Description: the first line of the note's content
Link: direct link to the note content on the user's blog


URL
[USERNAME].rss (or http://www.domain.com/[USERNAME].rss)

where in USERNAME should be put the name of the user
