The integration with the Talroo (formerly Jobs2Careers) jobs API, allows to query a large database with job listings in different categories and display them on the website.
To install the script, it's only necessary to upload its files to your preferred website or folder. The script is using a configuration / text file allowing to quickly change the main settings like the Talroo API id and secret and adjust the website preferences like colors, time zone, background image and others.
The main job search form allows the users to search the jobs by keyword, category and location (which can be configured by the administrator).
By changing the job categories on the website, you can easily focus the site on an industry of your choice (for example if you set IT related categories, the site can show by default such IT jobs and then allow the users to search and browse the jobs in these IT categories). The new categories can be entered as a list in a text file and you can also change in a similar way the job locations.
You can customize the footer section and make it show links to your social media pages (by setting the corresponding links for your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube pages in the administration panel) or include other information you may prefer. The footer section shows links to social media.
Talroo Jobs Script doesn't use any MySQL or other relational database - the information is stored instead in local XML files. This makes the installation really easy because to install it on your server or hosting package, it's only necessary to copy or upload the script files in your preferred folder or website.
