What is CV Bank and what makes it different from the other job scripts?
CV Bank is a website system and php software product (often referred as php script) for creating CV repository and resume database search websites.
It allows the users to create on-line their CV (resume) using one of the different options available - using the visual CV editor, upload it as file and be indexed like text in the database, using the CV creator or the CV rich text editor. The employers or recruiting companies can search after that the CV database in order to look for the right candidates for their job openings and be charged when they choose to open or save the job seeker's full CV (including his contact information).
The administrator can also create different subscriptions for the job seekers and charge them for premium subscriptions with featured CV status (showing always on top in the categories or the search results) and also earn from adding advertisements on the website.
CV Bank comes also with a powerful administration panel for the website administrators. It allows them to manage the registered users, the different settings (like currency, time zone, locations, categories, SEO urls, custom fields for the users and many others), the website structure and content (add pages, post news, modify the content of the pages etc.)
The software is written in PHP and is using a MySQL database to store the data.
It's provided with the not encrypted source codes, so you or developers working for you can make modifications in them or add new custom features if necessary.
CV Bank can be combined successfully also with our Jobs Portal solution to create a full featured recruitment portal with possibility also for companies or recruiting agencies to post jobs, process job applications, post also courses and training, allow the job seekers to allow or register for them, integrate with job feed providers like Indeed, SimplyHired, CareerJet and many others.

Do you provide the full source codes and can I edit them if I want to make any changes?
Yes, we provide the full source codes - not encrypted. This means that you or developers working for you could make modifications in them or add new features if required for your project. Please note that we also offer customization and custom development services, so you can also contact us should you need any changes in the basic functionality or new features added for you.
Can you install the site on my hosting and is there a fee for that?
Yes, we can do the installation on your server or hosting package and this is a free service that we offer. To request your free installation, please contact us before or after you have purchased the software. In order to do the installation for you, we'll need the ftp information for your website or if you have a hosting package control panel like cPanel or similar and is easier for you, you could send us instead the username and password for it.
What are the options to charge the employers or recruiting companies for accessing the CVs in the database?
Currently CV Bank supports 3 different charging modes and as administrator you can choose the mode you prefer from the administration panel and the Payments->Settings page in it. Alternatively if you wish, you may also run a site free for the users or start for example with a free site and later at any moment switch to a paid site.
The 3 currently supported modes to choose from are:
- based on credits
- using packages
- direct payments
If you choose the option to charge the employers based on credits, then the employers should buy credits (using one of the available payment options, such as PayPal with IPN, 2checkout, cheques and bank transfer), for example 100 credits and then be charged 1 credit every time they open a full CV on the site. After they spend the number of credits bought initially, they can buy a new number of credits they prefer. As administrator you can set the price of the credits and see and manage the number of credits the users have currently.
When choosing packages mode, you can create different packages including a different number of CVs / resumes, for example a package including the access to 20 CVs. If an employer buys such package, he will be able to open 20 CVs with it and then he will need to buy another package to be able to open more.
When setting the direct payments option (3rd method) - you can set the price per CV, so when opening a CV, the employer will directly see then a PayPal icon (or other option depending on the ones you have configured) redirecting him to make his payment.
There is also an option to run a free site and with it the users can use freely the different services without being asked to make a payment. You can also switch at any time between the different payment options from the administration panel.
What are the script hosting requirements?
Since the script is written in PHP, it requires PHP version 5.4 or newer to run and MySQL version 5.0 or newer. Today nearly all shared hosting packages support PHP and MySQL by default, but if you have any doubts if your current hosting package has these, please don't hesitate to contact us and we can check this that for you. You can also check in the footer menu of the site some hosting packages we use to recommend or contact us for any additional information or details.
Is your price one time fee and should I pay any yearly or other fees after that?
Yes, our price is a one-time fee, so once paid you could use it after for as many years as you want without paying any other fees.
Is it difficult for me to do the installation mysql?
We tried to make the installation as easy as possible and many of our customers prefer to do it themselves. The software comes with an integrated web installer, which makes the installation easy - you only need to upload the files on your hosting package and run the web installer, which will create the database and configuration file for you.
If I choose you to do the installation for me, how fast can you do it?
We always make efforts to do the installation as fast as possible and it's usually done within 1-2 hours after the purchase. In some rare cases this may take longer, please don't hesitate to contact us for details and more information.
Do you provide technical support in other languages except English?
Yes, our technical support team can be also contacted in Spanish and French languages. Please note that depending on the hour of day, our phone support could be limited to only the English language (the other languages are always supported for our email and ticket system supports ).
