Blog Lite is an easy to install and fast to run PHP script for creating simple blog sites or for adding a blog functionality to existing sites. It doesn't use any MySQL or other relational database,but stores the data in XML format-it executes fast and doesn't create any SQL server load. The installation is also as easy as copying its files to your preferred website or folder.
Blog Lite now comes in 2 editions - a Free one and a PRO one. The Free one comes with a powered by link and obfuscated sources, while the PRO one is provided with the full editable sources and extra features like for example:
- blog comments functionality that can be enabled or disabled from the administration panel and allows the users to post comments (including functionality to verify the user email addresses to prevent spam comments)
- SEO URLs functionality that can be turned on from the administration panel and makes the blog posts and other pages look like static html pages and having keywords in the URLs (for example https://www.domain.com/post-your-title-1.html instead of https://www.domain.com/index.php?page=post&id=1)
- RSS feeds and sitemap generation
