What is Job Lister?
Job Lister is a php script allowing you to create quickly simple job listing sites or to add a jobs listing and application functionality to an existing website. Unlike other job scripts,it doesn't use any relational database like MySQL or similar, but stores instead the data in local XML files - this makes it fast to run and very easy to install since to make an installation, it's only necessary to copy its files to your preferred installation folder or website. The front-end is also template based,making easier to customize the site design and layout according to your preferences or project requirements. the administration panel coming with the script allows also to easily change the front end colors and different website settings.
Job Lister comes with an easy-to-use administration panel allowing to manage easily the different website configuration settings,post new job listings or edit the existing ones. We added functionality in it to allow to customize the site colors from the admin panel,the logo,header background and others to make it easier to adapt it to a company's brand identity and different project requirements. It's also template based and the default templates can be customized or new custom templates to be integrated (please don't hesitate to contact us if you may be interested that we do this for you). Functionality to post and edit job listings
With Job Lister you can easily post and edit the job listings information from the admin panel by entering the job title,description,job category and also upload images for the job. On the Current Job Listings page in the admin panel,the administrator can see the current jobs and edit their details.
Easy to customize
You can easily change the main site color or add your logo or create your own home header with a background image,and text you prefer. Also you can make changes in the design by modifying the template or change the default font,default time zone,date format and other settings from the admin panel.
Choose between grid or list jobs display
From the admin panel you easily change the way the job results display and choose between either a grid display or a list display. You can also switch between the two different formats at any time.
Job listing details page
The job listing details page shows the header background and job title at the top and below the job description and the job images gallery. It also shows the job listing date,category and has links to share the job listing on social media like Facebook,Twitter and LinkedIn.
Set easily your own job categories
You can change easily the jobs categories by setting them as a list from the admin panel and they will show up after in the main site menu,allowing the users to browse the jobs by category.
Footer section showing links to social media pages and others
The footer section shows links to social media pages (as configured by the administrator),as well as the latest job listings,the about me text and links to the job categories.
Set custom site title and description,Facebook,Twitter and Instagram page urls and others
The special Site Information page in the administration panel allows you to configure additional settings and enter information about the job site,set custom meta title,description and keywords,change the header background,logo and title,set the urls of your Facebook,Instagram and Twitter social media pages.
Possibility to translate to new languages
Job Lister is easy to translate-it's using a language (text) file having the words and messages showing up on the front-end and admin panel interface, which can be translated easily to any new language. We also have ready translations available, which we can provide upon request.
Very easy to install and doesn't use any MySQL or other relational database
Job Lister doesn't use any MySQL or other relational database - the information is stored instead in local XML files. This makes the installation really easy because to install it on your server or hosting package, it's only necessary to copy or upload the script files in your preferred folder or website.
