Job Lister is a lightweight PHP script that lets you quickly create simple job listing websites or add job posting and application functionality to an existing site.
Unlike most job scripts, Job Lister does not rely on a relational database such as MySQL. Instead, all data is stored in local XML files, making the script fast, secure, and extremely easy to install—just upload the files to your server and it’s ready to use.
The front end is template-based, allowing easy customization of the site’s design and layout. Through the built-in administration panel, you can manage job listings, edit existing posts, and configure website settings with ease.
To simplify branding, we’ve added advanced customization options in the admin panel, including control over site colors, logo, header background, and other visual elements. This makes it easy to adapt Job Lister to different company identities or project requirements. Default templates can be customized, and custom templates can also be integrated upon request.

With Job Lister you can easily post and edit the job listings information from the admin panel by entering the job title, description, job category and also upload images for the job. On the Current Job Listings page in the admin panel, the administrator can see the current jobs and edit their details.
You can easily change the main site color or add your logo or create your own home header with a background image, and text you prefer. Also you can make changes in the design by modifying the template or change the default font, default time zone, date format and other settings from the admin panel.
From the admin panel you easily change the way the job results display and choose between either a grid display or a list display. You can also switch between the two different formats at any time.
The job listing details page shows the header background and job title at the top and below the job description and the job images gallery. It also shows the job listing date, category and has links to share the job listing on social media like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
You can change easily the jobs categories by setting them as a list from the admin panel and they will show up after in the main site menu, allowing the users to browse the jobs by category.
The footer section shows links to social media pages (as configured by the administrator), as well as the latest job listings, the about me text and links to the job categories.
The special Site Information page in the administration panel allows you to configure additional settings and enter information about the job site, set custom meta title, description and keywords, change the header background, logo and title, set the urls of your Facebook, Instagram and Twitter social media pages.
Job Lister is easy to translate - it's using a language (text) file having the words and messages showing up on the front-end and admin panel interface, which can be translated easily to any new language. We also have ready translations available, which we can provide upon request.
