Backups and the cron job

A recent backup and a running cron job keep the platform healthy.

Database backup

Open Settings › Backups and press Download backup to get a .sql file with all tables. The page shows the number of tables, database size and size of uploaded files.

What to back up

  • The database (the download above)
  • The folders /uploads, /thumbnails, /languages, /categories and /locations
  • Your config.php

Daily cron job

Run cron.php once a day. It:

  • e-mails bloggers whose paid plan expires in 3 days and when it has expired
  • removes accounts that were never activated (older than 7 days)
  • deletes old statistics rows
