Write, schedule and publish posts
The post editor combines a rich text editor, publishing options and SEO fields on one page.

Creating a post
Open Posts › New post. Enter a title and write the content in the editor. Use the toolbar for headings, bold, links, lists, quotes and images. Content is cleaned by the system so only safe HTML is stored.
Fields explained
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Title | Required. Also used to build the post address. |
| Slug | The URL part of the post. Leave empty to create it from the title. |
| Content | Required. Rich text with images. |
| Excerpt | Short summary shown in lists. If empty, the first words of the post are used. |
| Featured image | Uploaded image for lists and the top of the post. You can remove it again. |
| Category | Choose one of your categories or type a new one on the fly. |
| Tags | Comma separated. |
| YouTube | Optional video address shown with the post. |
| Allow comments | Switch comments on or off for this post. |
| Featured | Marks the post as featured on your blog. |
| Meta title and description | Custom search-engine texts. See below. |
Status and scheduling
- Draft: saved but not visible to readers.
- Published: visible now.
- Scheduled: choose a future publication date and the post goes live automatically at that time. If you set a future date on a published post it becomes scheduled; a past date on a scheduled post publishes it.
SEO fields
Write a meta title (up to about 60 characters) and a meta description (up to about 155 characters) that match what people would search for. If you leave them empty the post title and excerpt are used.
Plan limits
A package can limit the number of posts. When the limit is reached the editor shows a notice with an Upgrade link. See Plans and payments.
Managing posts
Posts › All posts lists your posts with their status. Edit, view or delete a post from there.
Stuck on a blank page? The AI writing assistant can draft an outline or a whole post for you.
