The menu and section links

The top menu is built for you from your sections. Each menu link scrolls smoothly to its section.

How the menu is built

For every section that has Show in the menu switched on, a link is added to the menu. The link text is the section name. The order follows the order on the Sections page. When the blog is enabled and has posts, a Blog link is added at the end.

Section anchors

Each section gets an address made from its name: lower case, with spaces replaced by dashes. For example:

Section nameLink to it
Our Team#our-team
Why Choose Us#why-choose-us
Pricing#pricing

Letters from any language work, so a section called "За нас" gets the address #за-нас. If two sections have the same name, the second one gets -2 added.

Linking to a section

Use the anchor as the link of any button, for example in a call to action or a pricing plan: enter #contact as the button link and the page scrolls to the section called "Contact". You can also share the full address, such as https://yourdomain.com/#pricing.

Hiding a section from the menu

Sections such as the hero or a closing call to action do not need a menu entry. Turn off the switch in the In the menu column on the Sections page, or switch off Show in the menu while editing the section. The section stays on the page.

Renaming a section changes its anchor. If you linked to the old anchor from a button, update that link too.

On the blog and the contact page the menu links go back to the home page and scroll to the chosen section, for example index.php#pricing.
