What is PHP Car Rental?
PHP Car Rental is a complete car rental website script written in plain PHP and MySQL. It gives you a modern customer website, a member area for car owners and renters, and a full admin panel, so you can start a car rental company or a car-sharing marketplace on your own hosting.

Three products in one script
| Part | Who uses it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Website (front end) | Visitors and customers | Search and filter cars, AI search, car pages with a live price calculator, booking requests, reviews, favorites, English and Spanish. See the front end chapter. |
| Member panel | Car owners and renters | Register, post cars with the AI listing generator, manage booking requests, pay for listings, track own bookings. See the member panel chapter. |
| Admin panel | You, the website owner | Manage cars, bookings, users, payments, pages, news, languages, AI settings, statistics and permissions. See the admin chapter. |
Main features
- AI search - visitors describe a trip in plain words and the script builds the search (AI car search).
- AI listing generator - owners get the title, description and form fields written for them (AI listing generator).
- Live price calculator with seasonal prices, long-rental discounts, extras and coupons (Live pricing).
- Booking requests with availability checking and automatic e-mails (The booking process).
- Paid listings with Stripe, PayPal or bank transfer (Paid listings and checkout, Payment settings).
- Multi-language interface and content, English and Spanish included (Languages on the website).
- Mobile-first template that you can recolor from the admin panel (Logo, colors and branding).
- Statistics, permissions and security built in (Traffic statistics, Administrators, groups and permissions, Security).
Who is it for?
Car rental companies that want their own booking website, entrepreneurs building a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace, web agencies delivering sites for rental clients, and developers who want a clean PHP base they can edit. The code is intentionally simple: no Composer, no heavy framework, no payment SDKs.
How this manual is organized
The manual follows the product: start with installation and the quick start, then read the chapters for the website, the member panel and the admin panel. Developers will find the technical chapters at the end.
